Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Claims Compliance Associate Director in New York City with a hybrid schedule (in-office three days a week). You will lead a team handling regulatory inquiries, ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, and partner across operations to strengthen claims compliance.

Base pay ranges from $149,040 to $195,615 per year with benefits and bonuses. You report to the Senior Director, Claims Quality and Compliance, and collaborate with regulators and cross-functional

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in claims operations and regulatory language.
• 5+ years of people management and team leadership experience.
• Proven background collaborating with regulatory agencies and strong familiarity with regulatory requirements.
• Experience forming data-driven, concrete answers in a world with imperfect information.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate Oscar claims processes including research, adjustments, and regulatory inquiries.
• Lead a team of claims analysts specializing in regulatory compliance, tasked with investigating regulatory inquiries and developing external responses.
• Leverages industry background and knowledge of processes to influence others in sensitive complex situations while preserving relationships.
• Translates the claims department's strategy into business plans and tactics to meet KPIs, targets, and SLAs.
• Collaborate and communicate with other departments on claims issues and inter-departmental operations to develop effective solutions.
