Job summary

Oscar is hiring a Claims Compliance Associate Director to lead a team of analysts responsible for regulatory inquiries and ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations. This remote role reports to the Senior Director, Claims Quality and Compliance.

You will collaborate across Insurance Operations and other departments, translate strategy into plans, and work with regulators to improve regulatory performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in claims operations and regulatory policy.
• 5+ years of people management and leading multiple projects.
• Proven collaboration with regulatory agencies and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience forming data-driven, concrete responses with imperfect data.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate Oscar claims processes including research, adjustments, and inquiries.
• Lead analysts in regulatory compliance to investigate inquiries and craft external responses.
• Influence strategy with quantitative and qualitative inputs to drive success.
• Translate department strategy into plans to meet KPIs and SLAs.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve claims issues and projects.
• Work with regulatory agencies, legal, audit, and compliance teams.
