Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking an Associate Director, Claims Compliance to lead a team of analysts responsible for regulatory inquiries and market conduct exams. You’ll partner with regulators and cross-functional teams to strengthen claims compliance and regulatory performance, translating strategy into actionable programs.

You will report to the Senior Director, Claims Quality and Compliance and work from our Tempe, AZ office on a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in claims operations and regulatory language.
• 5+ years of people management and team leadership.
• Experience collaborating with regulatory agencies and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
• Ability to form data-driven, concrete answers in a world with imperfect information.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate aspects of Oscar claims processes including research, adjustments, and regulatory inquiries.
• Lead a team of claims analysts specializing in regulatory compliance, developing external responses.
• Translate strategy into business plans to meet KPIs and SLAs.
• Collaborate with other departments on claims issues and inter-departmental projects.
• Work cross-collaboratively with regulatory agencies and Oscar's legal, audit, and regulatory teams.
