Adams & Associates PLC, a Scottsdale, AZ boutique firm, seeks an Associate Attorney for criminal and civil litigation with hybrid/remote flexibility. The role offers hands-on courtroom experience, a manageable caseload, and meaningful client interaction in an entrepreneurial, technology‑driven environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of litigation experience, a JD, and an active Arizona Bar license, with a drive for business development and community involvement.

Qualifications

• A J.D. degree and an active Arizona Bar license.
• 2+ years of criminal and/or civil litigation experience.
• Strong courtroom experience and ability to appear before judges.
• Ability to independently manage cases and meet deadlines.
• Interest in business development and community involvement.
• Minimum of 30 billable hours per week; strong writing and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle criminal and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Appear in court virtually and in person on a regular basis.
• Manage a small, high-quality caseload with client interaction.
• Support the Managing Partner on active litigation matters.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda.
• Participate in strategy discussions and motion rounds.
• Report case status and developments to the Managing Partner.
• Conduct legal research using modern legal technology and AI tools.
• Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional representation.
