The role offers hands-on courtroom experience, a manageable caseload, and meaningful client interaction in an entrepreneurial, technology‑driven environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of litigation experience, a JD, and an active Arizona Bar license, with a drive for business development and community involvement.

Qualifications

• A J.D. degree and an active Arizona Bar license.
• 2+ years of criminal and/or civil litigation experience.
• Strong courtroom experience and ability to appear before judges.
• Ability to independently manage cases and meet deadlines.
• Interest in business development and community involvement.
• Minimum of 30 billable hours per week; strong writing and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle criminal and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Appear in court virtually and in person on a regular basis.
• Manage a small, high-quality caseload with client interaction.
• Support the Managing Partner on active litigation matters.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda.
• Participate in strategy discussions and motion rounds.
• Report case status and developments to the Managing Partner.
• Conduct legal research using modern legal technology and AI tools.
• Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional representation.

Salary: $125,000 – 160,000 annually, based on experience

• Report regularly to the Managing Partner regarding case status and developments
• Conduct legal research utilizing modern legal technology and AI tools
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional legal representation

Requirements:

• A J.D. degree and an active Arizona Bar license
• 2+ years of criminal and/or civil litigation experience
• Strong courtroom experience and confidence appearing before judges
• An ability to independently manage cases and prioritize competing deadlines
• Interest in business development and community involvement
• An ability to bill a minimum of 30 hours per week
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• A self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative and diving into complex cases

Bonus Experience:

• Experience as a Federal or State Public Defender, Assistant United States Attorney, Assistant Attorney General, or Deputy County Attorney
• Experience using Clio
• Experience utilizing AI tools for legal research and workflow efficiency
• Understanding of cryptocurrency-related matters
