Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Texas Bar, in good standing.
• 2+ years of litigation experience; construction or construction defect experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team.
• Strong client-service orientation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in construction and construction defect claims, managing cases from inception through trial or settlement.
• Provide risk management advice and strategic legal guidance throughout construction projects.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis on construction and construction defect matters.
• Collaborate with experts, consultants, and other professionals to develop strong case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings.
• Mentor and support junior attorneys in research, case preparation, and trial strategy.
