Nova 401(k) Associates is hiring for Associate Account Manager (Customer Service) roles in Houston, TX. The position begins January 2027 with paid training and opportunities to earn industry credentials, including support for exam fees and memberships.

The role is hybrid, requiring four days in the Houston office and one day remote, with base salary in the $55k–$60k range. Responsibilities include client support on 401(k) issues, census questions, Form 5500 submissions, and day-to-day client

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication skills and ability to compose a professional email.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and knowledge of phone etiquette.
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and comfortable using a computer.
• Knowledge of VOIP phone systems a plus.
• Committed to lifelong learning and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Provide clients support on 401(k) issues over the phone.
• Assist with census submission questions and Form 5500 processes.
• Follow up with clients about missing items and ensure timely responses.
• Assist clients via phone, video conference, or email with 401(k) questions.
• Document all client interactions in the workflow system.
• Collaborate with account managers to ensure a positive client experience.
• Complete training and work toward industry designation.
