Job summary

CORE CFX is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to bridge field operations and the Forest Hills office in NYC. You will help keep projects on schedule, within scope, and documented in our PM system. This is a first full-time PM role with growth toward senior positions.

You’ll split time between active sites and the Forest Hills office, gaining exposure to clients, subs, and project coordinators while shaping the company’s processes and tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of NYC residential or commercial renovation experience (GC/CM/owner’s rep/field supervision).
• Proficient with project management software (JobTread, Procore, Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Fieldwire).
• OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain; SST card is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients, architects, and subs.

Responsibilities

• Track project schedules and flag slippage.
• Perform site walkthroughs ensuring quality and adherence to plans.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on scheduling, material deliveries, and scope.
• Support client communications via status updates and portal management.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily logs.
• Keep documentation organized in our PM platform.
• Escalate issues with proposed solutions.
• Contribute to refining internal processes.
