Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh seeks an Assistant Director - Research Operations to lead the local quality assurance program for the NRG Oncology SDMC. The role directs audit operations, develops SOPs, and supports the Center Director as a member of the SDMC leadership team.

You will supervise QA staff, coordinate cross-site audits, prepare timely reports, contribute to grant proposals, and oversee budgeting and compliance with federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily work of QA Specialists and QA Program Manager.
• Oversees operations of the Pittsburgh SDMC QA Team and supports cross-office audit activities.
• Participates in monthly and semi-annual QA team meetings.
• Prepares and submits audit reviews and reports in support of the audit program goals.
• Participates in external audits as required.
• Leads the Research Operations Department and oversees budgets, grants, and financial duties.
