Orion is seeking a Director, Assistant Controller in Omaha to oversee accounting for subsidiary companies, ensure accurate financial reporting, and coordinate audits. The role requires a bachelor's in accounting or finance, a CPA, 7–10 years of general accounting experience, and 1–2 years of leadership.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field
• CPA certification
• Public accounting experience
• 7–10 years progressively responsible general accounting experience
• 1–2 years of leadership/management experience

Mansioni

• Ensure all financial reporting statements are prepared accurately and presented on time
• Assist in monthly financial close and ensure subsidiary statements are completed accurately
• Coordinate annual audits and respond to internal/external audit requests
• Improve accuracy and timeliness of financial data during month-end close
• Lead a department and manage multiple teams and managers
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and internal controls
• Collaborate with tax accountants on returns for various entities
• Support FP&A in building long-term plans and variances analysis
