amycelltalent is seeking a motivated Assistant Controller in Southfield, MI, to support accounting operations. You will play a key role in the month-end close process and financial reporting, preparing journal entries and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, strong GAAP knowledge, and is proficient in ERP systems. This hybrid role requires in-office work 3-4 days a week and offers significant growth potential within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Prior progressive accounting experience required; public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Controller in executing the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on schedule.
• Perform account reconciliations and support the resolution of reconciling items.
