Job summary

Choice Hotels International seeks an Architecture & Design Operations Coordinator to support execution across the Architecture team and Design organization. This role coordinates project intake, review workflows, and on-site operations of the Design Lab, partnering with Development, Opening Services, Facilities, and external vendors to maintain timely project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
2-4 years of experience in project coordination, operations, architecture and design, construction, or related field.
Experience coordinating multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while effectively managing competing priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience utilizing project management and CRM platforms such as Smartsheet and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

Manage architectural project intake and allocation by assigning new projects to Architecture team members and maintaining project tracking tools.
Coordinate architectural review workflows by routing submissions, monitoring progress and timelines, and ensuring service-level expectations are met.
Prepare and maintain compliance, project pipeline, review status, and other architecture reports; track milestones and deadlines.
Serve as primary point of coordination for franchisees, Owners, and external consultants; communicate review status and support issue resolution.
Maintain project portals, document-management systems, and workflow documentation for accessibility.
Identify and recommend process improvements to strengthen workflow efficiency and visibility.
