Tetra Tech is seeking an Architectural Designer II to join our production team. You will transform conceptual designs into detailed construction documents, supporting multidisciplinary project teams to ensure accuracy, code compliance, and constructability.
This hybrid role offers three days in the office in Seattle, Detroit, or Virginia Beach with up to two days remote. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows, and a strong eye for detail.
Tetra Tech is adding an Architectural Designer II to our Architecture team. This position may be based in Detroit, MI; Seattle, WA; or Virginia Beach, VA, and offers a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of three days per week in the office and up to two days of optional remote work.

As an Architectural Designer II on our production team, you will play an important role in transforming conceptual designs into detailed, coordinated construction documents. You will support multidisciplinary project teams throughout the design and documentation process, helping ensure accuracy, code compliance, constructability, and consistency across project deliverables.
This position combines creative design sensibility with technical proficiency and is well‑suited for an architectural professional who enjoys collaborating across disciplines, developing detailed BIM models and documentation, and contributing to projects from early design through construction documentation.

This position primarily operates in a professional office environment with the opportunity for hybrid work. Project responsibilities may periodically require travel to active construction sites, existing facilities, or other project locations. Site conditions may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, uneven walking surfaces, and other conditions typical of construction and field environments.
