Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Engineering/Science required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience with evaluation, testing and certification to UL, CSA, IEC, EN standards.
• Experience with preparing test samples for certification tests.
• Ability to work with cross-functional product teams from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to discuss and communicate complex information with diverse professionals.
• Experience with programming, customizing, and setting up test equipment for agency tests; creation of custom fixtures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, prepare, and complete product agency approvals per UL/CSA/IEC/EN requirements.
• Perform product certification activities with third-party labs or internal Approvals Lab.
• Contribute to lab acceptance and documentation for Data Acceptance Programs.
• Analyze current test procedures and maintain project databases and certification records.
• Draft and review product technical documents such as user manuals/labels.
• Support regulatory compliance and product risk assessment activities.
• Serve as proxy/backup gatekeeper for US/Canada launches.
