Job summary

Accion Opportunity Fund is seeking an Application Support Specialist to join our Operations team in Commerce, CA. The role supports customer service and lending operations by managing Zendesk tickets and assisting with loan applications, with a hybrid schedule (in-office Tue/Wed/Thu, and remote other days).

The position requires 1–3 years in customer support or operations, strong communication, detail-orientation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced financial services

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in customer support, back office, or operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in financial services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and respond to incoming support tickets in Zendesk promptly.
• Collaborate with Senior Operations Manager to prioritize and resolve escalated cases.
• Assist clients and internal teams with completing and processing loan applications.
• Review application materials for completeness and accuracy; follow up as needed.
• Enter loan-related information into Cloud Lending from tickets.
• Maintain accurate records of ticket status, resolutions, and progress.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients to ensure a positive experience.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, lending, and customer success teams.
• Support ad hoc operational projects as assigned.
