Fourth Floor in Los Angeles is seeking Assistant and Associate Designers to join its LA team. This global design firm specializes in apparel design, product development, merchandising, and brand marketing, and the role supports RTW design across major retail programs while gaining hands-on experience through the creative and product development process.

The position welcomes entry-level to early-career designers, with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and familiarity with InDesign and Excel,

Qualifications

• Entry-level to early-career experience in apparel design, RTW, or product development.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and familiarity with InDesign and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Conduct trend, market, and competitive research to support seasonal design direction.
• Create sketches and CADs to support the design and development process.
• Assist with sample tracking, organization, and management.
• Create and maintain merchandising tools, including line sheets and presentation boards.
• Track fabric development calendars across multiple programs, ensuring deadlines and details stay organized.
• Maintain and organize the fabric library, including core fabric references.
• Support the preparation of design presentations, meetings, and seasonal line reviews.
• Assist with tech packs, product details, and other design and product development materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to daily projects and evolving business needs.
