Job summary

SoftWriters is seeking an Application Support Analyst in a hybrid Pittsburgh role. You will own the full support lifecycle, troubleshoot software, and manage API integrations across Windows environments, delivering exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, using MSSQL, documenting resolutions, and participating in on-call rotations to support customers and IT partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in a computer, software, or related field.
• Experience troubleshooting software applications and workflow problems.
• Proven problem-solving skills and passion for top-notch service.
• Ability to empathize with frustrated customers and handle difficult conversations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer-focused product support via phone, email, and remote access.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software problems promptly and professionally.
• Research technical issues, error codes, and software bugs, then advise customers with actions.
• Handle SQL (MSSQL) queries and resolve integration/service issues.
• Escalate cases to ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate with the right teams.
• Fully document client issues and resolutions for knowledge sharing.
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional after-hours coverage.
• Contribute to projects that improve support efficiency.
