Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Software Engineer to join a hybrid team in Greenwood Village, CO, focusing on an API platform spanning billing, monetization, access, and UX. The role centers on development with a DevOps emphasis and opportunities to contribute to R&D efforts.

You will work on full-stack development using TypeScript and Python, manage AWS infrastructure, and shape CI/CD pipelines while advocating best-practice DevOps across the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Software Engineer III level or equivalent.
• Strong TypeScript and REST API development experience.
• Familiarity with AWS services and DevOps capabilities, including CI/CD and pipelines.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and deploying apps as Kubernetes containers (AWS EKS is a plus).
• Must be autonomous, proactive, and a strong communicator.

Responsibilities

• Support full-stack development using TypeScript and Python for backend services and APIs.
• Assist in REST API development and integration work as needed.
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, serverless).
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and system configurations.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and improve reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate to establish DevOps best practices and tooling standards.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation scripts.
• Implement and manage Docker containers and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Participate in architecture and design reviews.
