Target's flagship Android app team seeks an Android Engineer to build and maintain robust, scalable native code. You’ll collaborate with UX and Product to deliver features, review code, and stay current with mobile tech trends.

Requirements include a 4-year degree or equivalent, 1+ years of Android experience, Kotlin proficiency, and familiarity with Dagger, Jetpack Compose, and Espresso. Hybrid work onsite in Minnesota with flexible days.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience with Android development.
• Experience developing in Kotlin.
• Experience with modern Android tools such as Dagger, Jetpack Compose, Espresso.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, well-tested native Android code to deliver functionality that meets business objectives.
• Work closely with partner teams - UX, Product - as needed.
• Keep abreast of technology trends and advances in mobile technologies.
• Be able to produce clear and concise technical deliverables for internal and external use.
