Job summary

Michigan Medicine seeks a Staff Specialist Healthcare to support the Associate Chief Nursing Officer for Ambulatory Care Services. The role provides high-level administrative support, coordinates strategic planning, and aids in policy development and implementation.

Collaboration with nursing leadership and UMH executives is essential to drive initiatives and improve operations. The position emphasizes independent judgment, data analysis, and leading improvement projects across ambulatory care;

Qualifications

Master's degree in nursing or related field required.

Responsibilities

Represent the Office of ACS ACNO on clinical operations issues within the segment.
Provide professional staff support for leadership meetings and forums requiring independent judgment.
Obtain and provide information/data to support strategic priorities and progress.
Lead and coordinate Ambulatory projects, analyze proposals, and track metrics.
Collaborate across departments to design and implement programs.
Coordinate literature reviews and briefing requests as assigned.
Research and analyze operational issues including workflow and design.
Collaborate with nursing and management to improve processes.
Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations for executive review.
Represent ACNO on committees and external contacts.
Participate in selection, training and evaluation of nursing management staff.
