Job summary

U.S. Bank’s Alternative Investments team seeks an experienced Associate Accountant to support hedge funds, private equity funds and related products.

You will calculate net asset values, prepare investor statements, and ensure GAAP-compliant accounting across multiple relationships. Responsibilities include recording trades, reconciling contributions and withdrawals, and preparing fund financial statements and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field, or equivalent work experience
• Two to five years of related experience, preferably in portfolio/partnership accounting
• Advent Geneva knowledge a plus
• Thorough knowledge in accounting, reporting, and analysis

Responsibilities

• Calculates net asset value(s) and disseminates financial and performance information
• Acts as primary fund accountant on multiple relationships and ensures GAAP compliance
• Records trade information, income/expense activity and applies valuation
• Reconciles investor contributions/withdrawals in the partnership system
• Prepares fund financial statements, audit and tax schedules
