Job summary

Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority in Allentown, PA is seeking an experienced Airport Operations Dispatcher. Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with a minimum three years’ emergency communications center experience preferred or equivalent training in call taking and dispatch.
• Familiarity with emergency management and ICS preferred.
• Certifications within specified timelines: ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-700, ICS-800 within 3 months; hazards awareness, CPR/AED/First Aid within 6 months; APCO Public Safety Telecommunicator I.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and operate airport authority communication systems (PA, telephone, two-way radio).
• Monitor NOTAMs and CCTV; respond to security and safety concerns.
• Record activities and incidents; protect sensitive information.
• Coordinate with FAA Tower, PSAPs, and airport police/fire during emergencies.
• Manage access control, badge deactivations, and secure areas per ASP and CFR requirements.
• Provide after-hours support for tenants and vendors when needed.
• Assist in emergencies and safety training; participate in QA/QI programs.
