Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks an AI Model Engineer to lead AI/ML initiatives with DHS and other government agencies. The role combines design, training, and deployment of computer vision and multimodal AI models, with a focus on secure, scalable pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

The position requires US citizenship, a Bachelor’s in a related field and 6+ years in software/data engineering, with hybrid onsite work at Fairfax, VA and Ashburn, VA locations. Salary ranges from $125,000 to $150,000.

Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering and data engineering.
• Experience with cloud architecture.
• Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, YOLO, ONNX).
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and fine-tune computer vision models for detection, tracking, and classification.
• Coordinate planning and execution of research programs to validate AI/ML concepts.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for national security impact.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic recommendations to government decision-makers.
• Ensure secure, compliant, and efficient AI operations with observability and deployment pipelines.
• Develop real-time dashboards and data pipelines using ETL tools.
