American Modern Insurance Group, Inc., a Munich Re company, is seeking a Data Scientist to join a centralized Data Science team. You will develop and deployment AI/ML models, test for efficacy, and collaborate with ML Engineers to scale solutions across the organization.

The role emphasizes modeling rigor, stakeholder communication, and mentoring junior staff, in a hybrid work environment with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R, Python, SAS, or similar and SQL.
• Experience building and deploying statistical and machine learning models to address business challenges.
• Data wrangling, quality evaluation, transformation and cleaning for analysis.
• Experience with AI/ML model testing, validation, deployment and CI/CD integration.
• Familiarity with MLflow, Git, and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI/ML models and explain results to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with ML Engineers to deploy models and monitor performance.
• Present modeling results to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify actionable insights to drive policy growth, retention and profitability.
• Maintain modeling best practices and support data preparation tasks.
