Job summary

American Modern Insurance Group, Inc., a Munich Re company, is seeking a data scientist to join our centralized Data Science team. You will build and deploy AI/ML and GenAI models, test efficacy, and work with ML Engineers to ensure performance and compliance across deployments.

Collaborate with senior data scientists to deliver business value, drive policy growth, customer satisfaction, retention, and profitability through advanced analytics and predictive modeling.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in statistical programming languages and SQL.
• Experience building and deploying statistical and machine learning models.
• Knowledge of data wrangling, quality evaluation and cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML models with general guidance.
• Act as liaison between ML Engineers and Data Science team for deployments.
• Present modeling results to stakeholders and management as requested.
• Tackle loosely defined problems to yield actionable insights for business growth.
• Prepare data and identify anomalies with guidance.
• Document assumptions, results and alternatives for stakeholders.
