Job summary

LTC Solutions, LLC is seeking an AI Engineer / Research Analyst to deliver mid-level data engineering, BI, and analytics support to HQMC, I&L, and GPN programs. The role focuses on automated data pipelines, secure datasets, and enterprise reporting in a hybrid Pentagon setting.

Qualifications

Experience supporting Department of Defense data engineering, BI, data governance, ETL/ELT, and enterprise analytics for operational decision-making.
U.S. Citizen with Active Secret security clearance and CAC eligibility.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or related field.
4–7 years of experience in DoD data engineering, BI, analytics, or enterprise information management.
Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT processes.
Experience writing complex SQL queries and reusable scripts.
Experience using Python, SQL, and data transformation libraries for automation and data prep.
Experience developing secure data pipelines and authoritative datasets for reporting.
Experience supporting enterprise data governance, metadata management, and data quality initiatives.
Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements, secure data handling, and records management.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated ETL/ELT processes supporting GPN analytics and enterprise reporting.
Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and reusable scripts for recurring data collection and reporting.
Develop secure, reusable data pipelines for analytics, AI, BI, and executive reporting.
Validate, cleanse, normalize, and integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple Government systems.
Implement data quality controls, validation routines, reconciliation processes, and metadata documentation.
Support development of enterprise BI architectures, reporting databases, and visualization back-ends.
Prepare datasets for predictive analytics, ML models, and operational research by senior engineers.
Collaborate with Government stakeholders to define data standards, rules, dictionaries, and governance policies.
Ensure compliance with DoW, USMC, DoD cybersecurity and governance standards.
Document database structures, transformation logic, workflows, and data lineage for sustainment.
Troubleshoot data quality issues, integration challenges, and reporting inconsistencies.
Support secure data architectures to improve availability, reliability, and performance of analytics.
Coordinate with AI Engineers, Data Analysts, BI developers, Government personnel, and system admins for enterprise analytics.
Participate in CM, version control, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of engineering solutions.
Perform additional data engineering, BI, analytics, automation, and governance duties as needed.
