Job summary

Wake County Public School System seeks a Systems Analyst (SIS Content and Communications Specialist) in its Technology Services department. The role supports student information systems, analytics, dashboards, and communications, coordinating with district departments, vendors, and DPI partners to improve operations.

The position emphasizes AI-enabled content development, data validation, testing, and knowledge management, with a hybrid telework workweek and occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, support, automation, and knowledge management.
• Experience with reporting, analytics, and data visualization tools.
• Strong MS Office suite and Google Apps skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of district operations and SIS business processes.
• Experience in project coordination, testing, and user support.
• Ability to develop technical documentation, user resources, and training materials.
• Ability to explain SIS functionality clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of SIS and related applications and district processes.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to identify improvements and automation opportunities.
• Monitors service requests and coordinates timely resolution of issues.
• Performs functional, user acceptance, regression, and QA testing for updates.
• Gathers requirements and documents business processes with stakeholders.
• Creates and maintains user-focused SIS documentation and training materials.
• Communicates SIS changes and procedures clearly to users.
• Employs AI tools to assist with content, data analysis, and knowledge management.
• Supports data validation, troubleshooting, and integrations across systems.
