Job summary

Snorkel AI is seeking a Strategic Delivery Lead to turn pod ambitions into reliably delivered, high-quality work. The role is hybrid (3 days in office) in San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY, overseeing a portfolio spanning samples, datasets, data products, and bespoke engagements.

You’ll own margin performance, drive a roadmap with Product/Research, manage SPLs, and coordinate with GTM and Delivery to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes and strong financial returns.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a P&L or business unit.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct reports.
• Deep technical domain knowledge and the ability to argue technical points effectively.
• Prior people management experience with a track record of building teams.

Responsibilities

• Own pod margin performance and operating economics, including cost-to-deliver and gross margin.
• Translate strategy into an actionable delivery roadmap with cross-functional teams.
• Lead and grow a team of Strategic Project Leads (SPLs).
• Bridge GTM and Delivery, supporting pre-sales, PMM, and delivery plans.
• Ensure projects deliver on time, with high quality and financial return.
• Mobilize needed talent across Research, Engineering, and Delivery.
• Plan workforce capacity with Delivery and Expert AI Supply leads.
• Drive quality improvements by addressing root causes and systemic fixes.
