Job summary

Moog Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a Project Engineer to lead and execute all technical project activities for the Military Global Sustainment program. You will own technical scope, schedule, risk, and customer interaction to deliver current and future capabilities.

The role requires strong systems integration, engineering discipline experience, and collaboration with cross-functional teams across Moog. Hybrid work model in Torrance, CA is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems engineering.
• ≥5 years of technical project management experience in aerospace, automotive, or test equipment.
• Experience with subcontract management, requirements management, and verification/validation methods.
• Strong cost, schedule, and scope management; familiarity with EVMS.
• Travel 5–10%.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage full program technical aspects including hydraulic flight controls and lift systems.
• Lead customer technical discussions regarding capabilities, status, and schedule.
• Develop technical requirements for onboarding future capabilities.
• Ensure activities are executed within scope and align with program goals.
• Provide technical guidance to Program Management on impacts and prioritization.
