Job summary

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for an acute care hospital in Miami. The role is hybrid with most hours onsite and limited remote flexibility. 20 hours per week, compensation $40.00–$45.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Dietetics and current RD/RDN registration, with 2–3 years of clinical acute care experience. Strong teamwork and nutrition management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD/RDN).
• Minimum of 2–3 years of recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Demonstrated experience caring for patients with diverse and complex medical conditions.
• Proficiency in enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients at nutritional risk.
• Develop and monitor individualized nutrition care plans for complex cases.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and care team to optimize outcomes.
• Complete accurate documentation in the EMR within required timeframes.
