Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD/RDN).
Minimum of 2-3 years of recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting (required).
Proficiency in enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients at nutritional risk.
Develop and monitor individualized nutrition care plans for complex medical conditions.
Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other team members to optimize outcomes.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards for acute care nutrition.
