HCSC is seeking an experienced actuarial professional to manage the implementation, maintenance and review of models and systems using actuarial principles for pricing, underwriting, statistics, reserving and forecasting. You will develop complex models, mentor others, and present analyses to support decision making.

The role requires ASA/MAAA, 4+ years health actuarial experience, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics is required (other bachelor degrees may be considered).
• ASA and MAAA memberships required with compliance to designation rules.
• At least 4 years of actuarial experience in health insurance or related field.
• Good verbal and written communication to prepare documentation, facilitate training and participate in presentations.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Manage implementation, maintenance and critical review/analysis of models, studies and systems using actuarial principles for pricing, underwriting, statistics, reserving, forecasting and other actuarial functions.
• Develop complicated models and teach others how to develop models.
• Create written and oral presentations to drive decision making and manage day-to-day projects including non-actuarial departments.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of one actuarial area or business segment.
