• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics, CS or related field.
• 4+ years of increasingly responsible actuarial job experience or equivalent education/experience.
• ASA completion or in process or equivalent actuarial experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; knowledge of insurance operations and data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develops new methodologies and recommends methodology, assumptions or process improvements.
• Presents results to customers and prepares written responses to regulator or customer questions.
• Manages projects and develops work plans and documentation.
• Performs peer reviews and ensures compliance with Actuarial Standards of Practice.
• Interprets business requirements and writes design specifications.
• Writes code/configuration to implement business requirements; develops tests to validate implementations.
• Manages own development plan and time; may travel locally or out of state.
