Job summary

Verisk is seeking a leader to own the AI and data transformation initiative for ISO loss costs. You’ll design actuarial workflows, define deliverables, and coordinate with data, operations, and development teams to deliver intelligent, value-added capabilities for insurers.

You will report to the Head of Insights and Actuarial Transformation, leading a small actuarial team and collaborating with stakeholders across product, data, and engineering in a hybrid Jersey City/remote setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related major.
• ACAS certification (Exam 5) preferred.
• At least 4–6 years of P&C actuarial experience focusing on pricing or underwriting is expected.
• Proficiency in actuarial software and tools such as R, Python, SQL, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI & data transformation roadmap for ISO loss costs and related data.
• Scope and design actuarial workflows and data logic for AI-facing tools.
• Reduce friction for data consumption and ensure integration into various AI architectures.
• Bridge operational and technical teams to align architecture and delivery.

Education
