Zusammenfassung

MetLife’s Retirement & Income Solutions (RIS) Annuity pricing team seeks an Actuarial Associate to deliver pricing for pension risk transfer transactions and related initiatives. You will work with plan data, pricing assumptions, and contracts to support bid letters and post-sale pricing tasks.

Reporting to the Director, Annuity Pricing, you will apply actuarial expertise, collaborate across teams, and contribute to process improvements in a hybrid New York office setting.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 3 years of actuarial experience.
• ASA/Pre FSA designation on Society of Actuaries.
• Good computer skills (Excel, Access, Visual Basic, C++ or other programming languages).
• Excellent analytical and spreadsheet skills.
• High degree of business and financial acumen.
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics or actuarial science.

Aufgaben

• Perform PRT case pricing end to end, including review of plan documents, data, assumptions, calculations, and review of offer letters and contracts for consistency with pricing assumptions.
• Provide support for development of pricing assumptions, including behavioral assumptions, for PRT transactions.
• Provide actuarial support to internal partners on pricing issues.
• Collaborate with the Contract team to develop bid letters and term sheets for each case and contracts after the sale.
• Perform post-sales pricing related functions, such as creating cost listings and analyzing price variance.
• Provide support to refine current processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
