Job summary

Northwest Playground Equipment, Inc. in Issaquah, Washington, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage invoicing, cash applications, and collections. Hybrid role based at our Issaquah headquarters with remote work 2 days/week after a 90‑day intro period.

The position requires 2–4 years accounting experience, familiarity with GAAP, and proficiency in Acumatica or similar systems. Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, construction/project-based preferred.
• Familiarity with percentage-of-completion accounting and GAAP.
• Experience with mid-tier construction accounting systems (Acumatica).
• Knowledge of AIA Forms G702/G703 and schedules of values.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day invoicing, cash application, and collections.
• Process AR aging and follow up on past‑due balances by phone/email.
• Prepare monthly customer statements and reconcile AR ledger.
• Record deposits, payments, and maintain audit-ready records.
• Assist with subcontractor lien waivers and documentation for audits.
• Support process improvements to AR workflows and month-end close.
