The Iowa Department of Revenue, Financial Services Division, is seeking an Accounting Support Technician 2 to join the Alcohol Accounting/Finance team. You will contribute to centralized accounting, liquor distribution support, and tax reporting processes.

Candidates should have 3 years of relevant financial processing experience or 30 credits in accounting/business, plus familiarity with Dynamics 365 and GenTax. A hybrid schedule applies after six months of employment.

Formación

• Three years of full-time work experience processing financial or related data in established systems.
• Thirty semester hours of accounting or business coursework equals one year of experience.
• Current, continuous state executive-branch experience may count toward qualifications.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain financial activity within operational systems including IADV, Dynamics 365, GenTax, and related integrations.
• Process cash receipts, licensing revenue, and other inflows; communicate discrepancies with partners.
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures for financial transactions and reporting.
