Job summary

Uponor is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead part of the accounting team at our Apple Valley headquarters in Minnesota. You will oversee general accounting, AP, tax reporting, and internal controls while ensuring GAAP/IFRS compliance and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CMA/MBA a plus.
• 8+ years of accounting/finance experience with managerial experience.
• Understanding of general ledger accounting and strong technical accounting skills.
• Excellent computer skills: MS Office, accounting software; Oracle & OneStream preferred.
• Strong organizational skills; extremely detail oriented.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Strong customer/colleague relationship skills with service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting functions including cost accounting and fixed assets.
• Oversee AP function and ensure timely supplier invoice processing and payment to optimize cash flow.
• Manage income tax reporting for annual audit and corporate reporting; oversee external tax audits.
• Support Year-End Audit: prepare schedules, gather materials, and provide data.
• Design and implement internal controls and drive continuous improvements in department processes.
