Job summary

Hyphenate is seeking an Accounting Solutions Consultant to bridge accounting operations, discovery, and implementation. You’ll work on pre-sale discovery, map accounting workflows to Hyphenate automation, and tailor solutions to ERP structures and close controls.

The role combines deep accounting expertise with technology, requiring experience across public and private accounting and the ability to lead discovery sessions with finance leaders in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of accounting experience (Public + Private, advisory + private, or private + solutions).
• Fluency in accounting detail and supporting technology.
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems.
• Experience with close management tools (FloQast or BlackLine).
• Advanced Excel skills (large datasets, reconciliations, pivots, complex formulas).

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sale accounting discovery with Controllers, Accounting Managers, and Finance leaders.
• Translate real-world accounting workflows into automated Hyphenate solutions.
• Configure Hyphenate to align with customer policies and ERP structures.
• Support pilots and early implementations with accounting logic and outputs.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Accounting to clarify edge cases and rules.
• Influence roadmap decisions by surfacing patterns and constraints across customers.
