Job summary

Higgsfield AI is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the month-end close, reconciliations, and key financial statements. You will own the close calendar, review journal entries, and partner with cross-functional teams in a fast-growing AI company.

The role emphasizes ownership, process discipline, and collaboration with the finance team, board, and external auditors. Hybrid work from the San Francisco Bay Area is available, with three days in-office and rest remotely.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience in public and private companies.
• CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Proven ownership of month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and financial statement prep.
• Experience supporting external audits.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and Excel/Sheets.
• Hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process and close calendar.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaid, fixed assets, and payroll.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Manage intercompany accounting and multi-currency activity.
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and flux analyses.
• Support external audits and tax filings.
• Drive process improvements and automation to shorten close.
