Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring a Manager, Accounting - Consolidations and Intercompany in Atlanta, GA. You will lead the consolidation process, manage intercompany accounting, and oversee goodwill, intangible assets, and investments to ensure accurate, timely U.S.

GAAP reporting. You’ll develop a small team, drive standardization, and collaborate with Tax, Technical Accounting, and International Accounting to support acquisitions, divestitures, and system integrations while ensuring audit readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, and/or finance with 6+ years’ accounting experience.
• 1+ year experience in a management or lead role.
• At least 2+ years in consolidation or intercompany role for large multinational company strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of month-end close processes and general accounting principles.
• Ability to lead and develop teams.
• Proven ability to partner and work with all levels in the organization.
• Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Strong knowledge of Hyperion Financial Manager and/or OneStream required, with Oracle Financials, Blackline and Power BI strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly OneStream consolidation process including US Oracle financial systems, non-core and international locations.
• Oversee accounting, reporting, and impairment testing for investments, goodwill, intangible assets, and equity.
• Prepare and review monthly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, account analyses, and flux commentary.
• Oversee and improve the consolidated intercompany process, including governance of inter- and intra-divisional balances and transactions.
• Provide accounting and support for strategic initiatives, acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational changes.
• Provide significant support for external audits, compliance activities and internal controls testing.
• Support debt reporting and covenant compliance requirements.
• Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardization across consolidation and intercompany processes.
• Partner closely with Technical Accounting, Tax, and International Accounting support global financial reporting, U.S. GAAP compliance, and cross-functional initiatives affecting the company’s legal entity structure.
• Lead mapping, testing, validation, and implementation efforts for new ledgers and acquisitions into OneStream.
• Manage a team of 2 employees, including coaching, cross-training, and professional development.
