Job summary

Alera Group is seeking an Accounting Clerk for a hybrid role. You will support accounts receivable and commission processes, balance daily transactions in AgencyBloc, and help allocate revenue across entities. Candidates should have a high school diploma and strong Excel/Office skills.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with in-office and remote days, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Prior experience with agency commissions is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; accounting or related coursework preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Teams and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts receivable activities and maintain accurate commission records.
• Process and balance daily commission transactions in AgencyBloc.
• Review revenue transactions for proper allocation by subsidiary and department.
• Modify/import carrier commission statements from Excel into AgencyBloc.
• Investigate commission discrepancies and resolve payment issues.
• Generate commission reports using AgencyBloc and other tools.
• Collaborate to maintain accurate commission split arrangements.
• Provide responsive service to agents, carriers, and colleagues.
