Job summary

Clinton Savings Bank is hiring an Accounting Associate for a hybrid role in Clinton, MA. You will prepare, post, and remit AP invoices, import daily data into the GL, and produce management reports. The role supports tax remittance, vendor setup, and routine reconciliations in a banking environment.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in accounts payable and familiarity with W9/1099M and sales tax regulations. This is a non-management, experienced position in Finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years Accounts Payable experience.
• Understanding of W9, 1099M and Sales Tax regulations.
• Banking accounting environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all invoices for payment with proper approvals and GL coding.
• Enter payables into the AP system to ensure timely payments.
• Print checks or create ACH files and remit payments to vendors.
• Compute and remit Sales Tax to MA DOR monthly.
• Maintain AP files and vendor W9/1099 documentation.
• Prepare and remit Federal/State tax reports as required.
• Balance and reconcile Bank GL and CSB statements.
