Job summary

Credit Union of Colorado is seeking a detail-focused Accounting professional to manage month-end financial report preparation, GL reconciliations, and data analysis in support of GAAP and regulatory reporting. The role includes payroll journal entries, accounts payable assistance, fixed assets, and financial statement preparation for the Foundation, with collaboration across departments.

A Bachelor’s in accounting and 2+ years of experience are required; this is a hybrid role in the Denver area

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of accounting or auditing experience.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles and analyzes general ledger accounts and bank reconciliations.
• Prepares payroll journal entries and payroll-related reconciliations.
• Assists month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation and variance explanations.
• Reviews invoices, expenses, and assists with accounts payable processing.
• Maintains financial records for the Credit Union of Colorado Foundation.
• Supports budget review meetings and ad hoc financial analyses.
• Assists with external audits and regulatory examinations.
