Keadjian Associates in Houston seeks an Account Director to lead strategic public affairs and corporate communications programs for energy, land use and infrastructure clients. The role combines client leadership, team supervision and hands-on writing and editing across talking points, press releases and materials.

Hybrid role with in-office Houston collaboration and some remote work; competitive salaries, performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits are offered. Start date is immediate.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in corporate communications or management consulting
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
• Experience leading teams and mentoring direct reports
• Experience in energy, land use or infrastructure sectors is a plus
• Professional fluency in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Direct a team developing high-quality, client-ready messaging and materials
• Drive the development of planning presentations, reports, trackers and other deliverables
• Edit and shape materials to improve language and tone; ensure messaging aligns with client voice
• Edit and fact-check materials and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with in-house design to brainstorm visual treatments
• Lead client planning calls and team coordination meetings
• Anticipate issues and offer proactive solutions
• Manage and mentor one or more direct reports
