Job summary

Aon plc in Houston is seeking an Account Manager to support our Energy & Natural Resources clients across oil & gas, power, renewables, and mining. This hybrid role is based out of our Houston office.

You will partner with Account Executives, assemble energy submissions, manage client inquiries, renewals, billing liaison, and mentor junior staff, delivering reliable insurance solutions. The role requires 5+ years of insurance experience and a P&C license preferred, with a salary range of

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance experience, preferably in energy or natural resources.
• P&C broker license preferred or to be obtained within 120 days of start date.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Executives on energy and natural resources accounts.
• Assist with client-facing and internal activities for energy clients.
• Assemble submissions tailored to energy industry risks.
• Monitor renewal process and draft quote comparisons.
• Serve as liaison with Client Services and Premium Accounting on billing matters.
• Mentor junior account specialists and support staff.
