Parkland Health seeks an ACA Clinical Pharmacist to manage operations and clinical initiatives for the Parkland Community Health Plan. The role focuses on optimal drug therapy outcomes, cost control, and regulatory compliance within ACA/Marketplace guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a PharmD with a Texas license and at least six years in health plans or managed care, plus residency experience. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Formación

• PharmD degree required.
• Current Texas pharmacist license.
• Six years of pharmacist experience in health plan/managed care.
• PharmD residency completion preferred.
• Project management or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Experience with ACA/Marketplace programs preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee pharmacy operations and manage the PBM contract for ACA business.
• Develop and manage clinical pharmacy initiatives to optimize outcomes and control costs.
• Create and monitor clinical reports and dashboards for program efficacy.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with CMS, NCQA, DEA, FDA and state boards.
• Lead audits of vendors and compliance programs as needed.
• Provide clinical support to Appeals and provider outreach when required.
