Job summary

Parkland Health and Hospital System is seeking a senior pharmacy leader to manage pharmacy operations and clinical activities for the health plan program. The role oversees the contracted PBM, formulary development, and clinical initiatives to optimize drug therapy and reduce costs.

Required PharmD, Texas license, and multiple years in healthcare or managed care. The incumbent will lead regulatory readiness and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality care and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree is required.
• Texas pharmacist license must be current and unrestricted.
• Experience in health plans or managed care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy operations and manage relationships with the pharmacy benefit manager.
• Lead development and maintenance of formulary and prior authorization policies for ACA/Marketplace.
• Direct regulatory readiness, audits and compliance across regulatory bodies.
• Support population health, chronic disease programs and cost-containment initiatives.
• Collaborate with providers, care teams and vendors to optimize therapy outcomes.
