Job summary

Parkland Community Health Plan seeks a Pharmacist leader to manage pharmacy operations and clinical initiatives for ACA/Marketplace members. This role oversees the pharmacy benefit manager, formulary, prior authorizations, and regulatory standards to optimize outcomes and reduce costs.

Ideal candidate has a PharmD, Texas license, and six years of relevant experience, with residency and Six Sigma/PM credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree required.
• Six years of pharmacist experience in health care, health plan, or managed care.
• Texas pharmacist license active/unrestricted.
• Post-graduate residency preferred; PM/Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy operations and vendor oversight for ACA business.
• Develop and maintain formulary, prior auths, and clinical policies.
• Oversee regulatory readiness and compliance with SC and licensing bodies.
• Develop clinical projects, measure outcomes, and manage evidence-based interventions.
• Produce clinical and admin reports to track program effectiveness and costs.
• Ensure regulatory reporting and contract compliance with regulators and vendors.
