Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Hy-Chi Department Clerk to greet customers, take orders, and keep the Hy-Chi counter running smoothly. You will prepare and replenish products, pull items from the cooler, and ensure cleanliness and safety throughout the shift.

You will also manage POS transactions, review daily needs, stock as required, and contribute to a welcoming, fast-paced shopping experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to six months of related experience or willingness to learn.
• Clear communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and taking orders at the Hy-Chi counter.
• Review orders for the day and ensure adequate food supply by following a production list.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish product and pull items from cooler/freezer as needed.
• Maintain freshness and quality standards throughout the shift.
• Handle checkout, payments, and make change as applicable.
• Follow sanitation procedures and keep the workspace clean and safe.
